About us

The KILIAN company was established in 1979 by one of the three Kilian brothers – Ireneusz. Today, the company is a family business run by Ireneusz, his son Arkadiusz and his brothers - Ryszard and Wojciech, and their wives.

The history of the company started with the purchase of a knitting machine, which produced the first ever fabrics by Kilian. Throughout the years, our machine park was developed, which was accompanied by increasing production volume and extended range of knitted fabrics.

In 2004, we bought the facilities of Spółdzielnia Inwalidów Diskol (Knitting Disabled Workers Cooperative Diskol) in Koluszki, where, after major refurbishment, a modern knitting shop was opened. We have at our disposal several dozens of state-of-the-art knitting machines that produce best quality fabrics sold in Poland and abroad (Great Britain, France, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia).

KILIAN offer includes fabrics made of natural and artificial fibres, and in particular, of combed cotton, mercerized cotton, viscose, and many more.

Polar fleece of different finish and basis weight and three-layer laminated Polar fleece with membranes, the so-called softshell fabric, are our flagship products.

In order to improve the quality of our products, we cooperate with Textile Research Institute in Łódź and the Institute of Security Technology MORATEX in Łódź in terms of research and certification. In 2009, the company was granted authorization certificates for the production of Polar fleece delivered to the Polish Armed Forces and of non-flammable fabric for the National Fire Service.
